Upscale hotels in Kauai can regularly run $300 or more. But now the beachfront Sheraton Kauai Resort is offering a $199 special that also includes a FREE compact car rental for your stay. This offer is for travel through Aug. 22.

This resort is right on Poipu Beach, which the Travel Channel rated as "The No. 1 Beach in America." It sits on 20 acres and features two pools, a fitness center with ocean views, massage center, and three restaurants. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV, Bliss bath amenities and a balcony.
