These rates require advance purchase at least two days before the start of the stay, prepayment and are nonrefundable. Rates vary within the $113-$170 (CA$119-$179) range, so be flexible with weekends to find the best rate. The lowest rates were found in late December and early January.

The hotel has an indoor pool; a steam room and sauna; two restaurants and a lounge; a spa; and a fitness center. Rooms have mountain, city or ocean views.

During the holiday season, Vancouver offers a range of activities -- from holiday light shows to festivals and performances of The Nutcracker. Located 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver, the Capilano Suspension Bridge also is a major tourist attraction.
