While most Manhattan hotels raise rates with the turn of the new year, the Warwick New York Hotel in Midtown is offering a special that saves over 40% off regular prices. Book by Dec. 2, and stay in a Classic room for $159 per night seven days a week Jan. 3 - March 31.

For $20 more per night, upgrade to a Deluxe room or add a breakfast buffet to the Classic room (good for two adults and two children under 12 years). Those booking the breakfast package for at least three nights will also receive two free VIP tickets to The Museum of Modern Art ($40 value).

The Warwick New York Hotel, built in 1926 by William Randolph Hearst, features oversized guest rooms and sits in a prime location on Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue) at 54th Street. It's close to Central Park, Broadway, Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue shopping. This historic hotel was once home to celebrities including Cary Grant, Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
